How much caulking??

My trailer is two year old and I am starting to notice cracking and pulling away in a lot of areas on the exterior vertical surfaces. However I am unsure as to how many tubes of caulk I may need, would hate to run out in the middle of the Job. I plan on resealing most if not all of the exterior walls (not roof). My Cherokee is 29'. Thanks!!!

Get about 4 tubes of clear Geocell. Whatever is left over, keep in storage in case of any leaks, etc.

I bought two tubes of ProFlexRV (clear) and touched up mine.
I didn't even use one tube but I didn't have to do every seam along its entire length. Just where it was needed.
A little goes a long way.

Agree with BandJCarm.

You'll probably only use one on your repair. However, by the time you need to use it again it'll be dried out (I don't care how you cap it off). Then you still have 3 more unopened tubes.

It's cheaper on Amazon to purchase several at a time.the biggest pain is not having it when you need it. I travel with one too just in case.

Can you just touch up without removing existing first? The factory caulk looks more like silicone but I bought the geocel to repair and would love to just touch up instead of scraping all the old out, even if it is still solid.

If I buy one, I end up needing three. If I buy three, I end up using half of one.
Rather have two many....than not enough.

You can if it isn't silicone. I do but mine isn't silicone.
Silicone will not seal to itself once cured.

Lexel is another great alternative. It's not silicone, never fully hardens so it provides great elasticity, sticks to itself so can be touched up, hell it sticks to everything. Stuff is super clear too. It's all I'll ever use.
