How to remove brake light cover on Shockwave 5th wheel

this may sound like a dumb question but we have tried to squeez and pull to remove the cover on the bottom right tail light and it's a no go. we feel like it will brake if we play with it anymore. do we have to purcahse the whole tail light? please help. we we have 2009 shockwave.

There are many different makes of Brake/Tail light assemblies.

The lens on most snap on. The lens on mine have two small tabs holding it on. I simply use a small screwdriver to pry the tabs away from the light base.
