How to use E-Z Breeze

Hello we have an EZ Breeze fan in the bathroom of our Sandpiper. Anyone have directions on how it operates. I know it is a switch controlled fan. I see that it has a rain cover so it doesn't open and close per-say. I see the handle has three settings. I think it was closed, vent, open. How do you use yours. Mine is about 8.5 feet up and requires a step stool to change the setting.

There should be a black knob that is tee/bar shaped that should turn CCW to open and CW to close. Then it should operate.

Most have a switch on the wall, some are remote controlled and I guess they have blue tooth now.
