Any advise for a ladder for a 5er. I would like to reach the top while cleaning the roof. I want to be able to store it and not tie it to the outside while towing. Thanx in advance.
It seems a lot of people use the compact folding step ladder. It collapses down to about a 4" square. Not sure if it'll help you get to the top, though.

I think the aluminum telescoping ladders would be perfect. They take up minimal room, and can get you higher then most other compacts. I have two of the 4 fold 4 foot tall units I work with, and I wouldn't want one of those in my cargo area. The telescoping ones, that are about 2'x2'x3 1/2" thick, would be perfect, IMHO.
