Lamilux Fiberglass Roof Repair

I have a 2013 Flagstaff 228D that got a puncture in the roof. I have searched all over the interwebs and haven't found any information specifically about repairing gel coated fiberglass like this.

Has anyone out there done this type of repair?

Right now, I am leaning toward just wiping the area around it with acetone and putting a piece of EternaBond on it, then waxing the area. But I have also considered sanding it out and filling with epoxy, but that won't look great either because of the texture.

Any tips or experiences that you could provide is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Brian

Used the EternaBond....

Decided to "sand" the area around the puncture with a Scotch "Greenie", wiped it down with acetone, then put a piece of EternaBond over it. From all of the reviews that I have read of this stuff, it should last for quite a while before needing to be replaced. I will keep an eye on it to see if it begins to peel.

That was a good idea to put the Ebond tape in it. If it were mine I'd top it off with a bead of dicor around edges of the Ebond.

Just my 2c.
