Loose Roof Board

My son owns a Surveyor Sport that he bought new in April of 2013. (It's a 2014 model) In doing his fall inspection he found a spot on the roof where a board under the vinyl seems to have come loose. He checked the roof for potential leaks and didn't find anything, and the board doesn't seem to be soft, like the problem is a leak. What do you think? Could this be a warranty issue? Manufacturing defect? What's the fix?

Absolutely take it in for warranty. If it's still covered under warranty, get as much stuff fixed as you can now (provided it is a warranty issue).
