Maxxair II Color, heat consideration

I need to add two covers to my crank-up vents. With the color scheme of my rig I want the black to blend in. I know the protection that a cover provides but have been wondering...

If the vents are left cranked up, when the unit is parked at home, does the white vs black make any difference? Specifically if black would add to the heat inside during the hot days.

Just me overthinking stuff again...
