May have water in front cap

I know some of you have probably experienced so let me know what you think. I was getting the RV ready to go on a trip and was attempting to move the Reese Revolution Sidewinder pin box to center. Of course it wouldn't move so I began to push and let go several times and each time I could hear something moving inside the cap. Is it possible it could be water? I just had the roof inspected and sealed/reconditioned at my dealer. Tell me what you think. I'm going on the trip anyway and will get it looked at when I return. Have plenty of payload on my 2016 350 so if it is water the wt. won't hurt. Is it possible to drill a couple of holes in the bottom to drain it and then tape over or use rubber plugs.

It would help to know which RV you have. Some are prone to leaking water into the cap.

You'd have to push pretty hard on the unit to hear water in the nose cap slosh around. I suspect you were hearing some wiring or something hard moving around.

I don't think I'd drill holes in the cap to drain the water. If it's water you should see it leaking out as you travel. Moving side to side and starting and stopping should slosh it enough to splash some of it out around the sides and/or pinbox.
