Mirrors on the Legacy

Trying to replace the extension arm on my legacy. I've had to drill out 2 of the 3 retention screws. And it still won't let go. Any ideas? Click image for larger version

have you tried using an easy out on the remaining threads to ensure it is free or a pick to pull the remains threads away from the body

That's what I'm trying next. Hoping that does it.

Ok end result. I drilled them out more and then beat with a hammer. Probably not the best or correct method but it did work. Now I've got to take off the 6 pin connector so I can fit the wire into the new arm. You need to remember to mark the wire placement in the connector. So once you rethread the wire you can put them back into the connector in the correct order.
Good times.
