Murphy's Oil Soap

Has anyone washed there rv with Murphy oil soap (other than the roof). I am just wondering how it would do in general washing and with black streaks.

I have used it mixed with car wash soap. Gets rid of a lot of the dirt but does not do much for black streak. I always use black streak remover also use a magic sponge. Later RJD

I use Murphy's Oil Soap to wash my cars and RV. Nice smell and does a excellent job on cleaning and a nice shine. Use it to clean the awning also. Mix with water and spray on awning and then roll up, leave rolled up for hour or so and then un roll awning and rinse, does a excellent job of cleaning , if you don't get the results you want just make the mixture a little stronger. As for black streaks I pour a little bit straight on a rag and wipe on black streaks and wipe off. Murphy's Oil Soap is all natural and will not remove wax. It can be used on glass without leaving a oily residue or film.

Thanks Haul-a-Fifth

Thanks for the good info. If it will ever stop raining here I will definitely give it a try.

Murphys should be good. I've done some reading on Magic Erasers - there is no chemicals in them from what I've found HOWEVER they will mar, scratch and dull glossy or shiny surfaces.

I use S100 to remove the black streaks. Buy it from my Harley Dealer. Just spray it on let it set for a minute and wash off. All gone😄

S100 is good stuff
Cycle bright is a little cheaper if you can't find S100 or both are available
I keep a bottle in the RV for all kinds of cleaning
For those not familiar with these products they are concentrated soap used to safely spray all over a dirty motorcycle and then spray off
Use a soft cloth for really dirty areas
I personally find the black streak remover works the best for neglected areas and the cycle bright for regular remival
