NoBo 16.8 Roof vent

We are planning to put a cover housing over our roof vent but there are posts located at each corner. Does anyone know what these posts are for?

Don't know what you are talking about, a picture would help, I have never seen a roof vent that wasn't 14x14

Reply from Forest River:
The MaxAir fan that we install is made to be able to snap a compatible cover over the vent. Forest River does not sell this product. You should be able to purchase said cover at a dealership. If I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

MaxAir power fans have cover mounting brackets pre-installed to be used with the FanMate cover.

Installed the MaxAir Fan Mate cover today. Very easy install with NO drilling required. Mounting post preinstalled. Just slip the attachment pins to the post.
