Pinstripping

I have a 2009 XLR Toy Hauler. MY gold pinstipping is cracked and detoriated really bad. Any one else have this issue. My blue pinstripping is just fine but all the gold is like it has been out in the Arizona desert for 10 years. Any one hear of any recalls with the gold pinstripping?

I have seen that on many campers where one color is good while another is shrinking and cracking. I have never seen a proper explanation, and I am pretty sure there will never be a recall.
A good signage company could duplicate it with much better material.

Depending on the size of the stripping, but a lot of automotive stores carry it.
