PM Program

I was wondering if anyone had a pm program ( preventive maintenance) for the outside of a Salem aluminum siding camper. Caulking for and aft strips. How often should I caulk all external fittings. Ie will I remove and replace or clean and caulk. Whats type is best for what application. For cleaning the black streaks, the best band easiest way is scrubs. Streaks come off great. Easy whipping on and wet rag or hose off.

Sounds as though you have a great grasp as to what it takes to keep on top of the maintenance of your RV. One of the more over looked sources of information is often as close as a YouTube search. While many post are worthless and flat out dumb in general post. There is a true wealth of helpful information to be had simply by asking.

Of course this site is a pretty good source also, but YouTube comes with pictures and video which always help me along the way.

Happy Camping

jonrjen thanks for the info. I was in maintenance and know the value of preventive before rather than reactive. Yes utube has some good stuff out there. Just never thought of it for rv. Great tip. Happy camping
