Thumbs up Protect All Rubber Roof Treatment

I've owned the tt 7 months now and it's set outside the entire time so I thought it was about time to clean and inspect the roof. It was starting to turn a nice dark tan color.

I picked up some Protect All Rubber Roof Treament to apply after cleaning. They claim it has UV protection and reduces chalking and gray streaks. They also claim it last 3 to 6 months depending on the climate you live in. Instructions say to sweep, dust or use a sponge mop with water between treatments.
Application is very easy. Just spray on about 2' or 3' square sections and sponge mop to spread evenly, then just let it air dry. My tt's box size is approx 31' with one large slide and one small slide. It took 16 oz of a 32oz spray bottle and about 30 minutes to apply.
I'm very happy with the results. The roof looks brand new. Hopefully it will do all they claim.
Here's a couple of pics.

Nice Job Gary.

Please keep an eye on that shower skylight seam. Mine needed constant attention until I Eternabonded it. Looks like yours could use a dab of Dicor sealant.

I've been told around this crowd that's no great accomplishment!

Thanks for the comments guys. The Protect All is what really whitened it up. It now has a smoother, slicker feel to it.
I wish I had taken some before, during and after pics and then you would see why I was so impressed with it.
I used some rubber roof cleaner I bought at wall mart to wash it, but I think I'll pick up some Protect All to do the job next time.

Great job, you have motivated me to do mine as well. How much in total did this job run you? Did you have any left over when you were done?

I purchased 2 bottles from RV Wholesalers for $14.99 each, so I guess I've got enough for a couple of years!

Here's a link to their web site; 32oz Rubber Roof Treatment - RVWholesalers.com RV Parts and Accessories

I finished the outside of the trailer this morning. After washing it I used Protect All - All Surface Care. They claim it polishes, waxes, treats and protects ALL sufaces. It does contain carnauba wax.
As with the roof treatment, it was easy to apply. Sprayed it on then spread it evenly with a dry cloth. I then wiped it dry with a towel. I only used about 's of a 32oz spray bottle for the whole trailer.
I covered the whole outside including the windows and trim. Turned out pretty good. We'll see if it does all they claim as well.
Here's a few pics;

Lookn' Good !!!

Let's see, didn't you wash your trailer back during the 1st part of the year during a warm spell, then get a blizzard in a couple of days. Better watch out now.

Man, you've got a good memory!

I don't want another blizzard, but I wouldn't mind some rain. It's been nothin' but hot and humid 'round here for a couple of weeks now.
Those last pics you can see some dark clouds to the north. I could hear the thunder and we were getting a cool breeze from the storm, but now it's clear skies, 91 and climbing.
So if cleaning the trailer is what it takes to get some rain, I'll go out and wash it again right now!
