Pulled out screw on side of cardinal fifth wheel

I just had 3 screws pull out of the side wall of my cardinal fifth wheel. I replaced one of them with next size up. It doesn't seem to be a good fix. Any suggestions?

I think you need to take a picture to help people know what you're talking about.

The screws which hold my Cardinal cargo door latch pulled out years ago on my trailer. I replaced with larger screws and they just pulled out again.

For several years, I have been propping the door up with a 6ft long piece of 3/4 pvc pipe. The pipe has a short T fitting near one end. The T fits nicely on the edge of the door and the other end has a 1" rubber end cap.

I also use my stick for walking and moving things without me having to bend over. I can snatch several chalks from my wheels before you can get in your truck. I don't even have to bend over. My grandsons think the stick is better to play with than the toys they bring along.

JB weld the hole, after it cures drill and tap or thread the screw back in.

I had a self tapping screw pull out of a lower trim panel. Replaced it with a machine screw and backed it up with a flat washer and a lock washer. No more problems there!
