Rain gutters

My rain gutters leak where they are spliced together. Should they be caulked where they meet up? This is on a 2011 rockwood 8281ss 5th wheel. One of the splices leaks water on top of one of my slides. No point in having slide covers if water from ac will leak on them.

Mine did the same thing on both sides of the trailer, I just caulked the seam and it stopped the leaking down the side of the trailer...

I just used a a silicon premium waterproof GE window/door. I think I used the clear but I think it comes in several colors. I think I bought it at Lowes or Homedepot.
