Question Recommended for Cleaning my RV Roof

I own a 2010 Rockwood 2607 and was wondering what the recommended solution is to cleaning my roof. I just got the trailer and wanted to keep it clean up there but didn't want to use a chemical/solution that would harm the roof. What should I use???

You should have gotten a packet with your new trailer about the roof material maintenance.

Your roof is made of Vinyl, TOP(thermoplastic polyolefin ).

Below is a link to the manufacturere with cleaning and maintenance instructions.

ALPHA Systems - Royal Tuff-Ply TPO

Interesting. Now they say DON'T USE granulated cleaners, but my instructions w/ my 26TBSS say go use 'em. I guess I'll follow the updated instructions and use murphy's oil soap (I've got some already).

Thanks for the link!

Mike D.,

The Rockwood/Flagstaff have TPO roofs, Your Salem may have a EPDM Rudder Roof.

ALPHA Systems - Royal Roof EPDM

Easy to check. If your roof material is smooth, it's a rubber roof. If it's textured, it's a Vinyl roof.

Hmmmm..... My documentation only calls it an "Alpha Membrane". Thanks for the info, looks like I have the rubber roof. I'll try cleaning in in a "safe" spot 1st before I go bananas w/ the cleaner....Thanks!

Thanks Everyone for the replies. I'll add "Murphy's Oil Soap" to my list of items to get when I'm out shopping. Thanks Again...
