Removing oxidation

What it the best stuff to use to remove oxidation and make my fifth wheel shine again? The side that gets the sun is fading but the shade side still looks like new. Also should I use a wool pad or foam pad on my buffer? I have a 2015 34 RLSA Cedar Creek.

I used this with terrycloth pad. Worked well. 2 years later and still looms good

+1 on GelGloss, also works great on marble/stone/porcelean and smells good.

My Son who used to show his custom car swears by "Clay Bar". Comes in a kit consisting of a bar of clay, some liquid to use with the clay bar, and some wax to apply when finished. I believe it is sold by both Meguires and Mothers. Maybe others too.

Me? I'm a fan of Nu-Finish. That and an orbital polisher with several bonnets so I can always work with a clean one. I used to use a big polisher but found the smaller one that's the size of a palm sander is a lot easier to use above my head and around the various protrusions on both my truck and trailer.

Thanks for everyone’s help. I’ll see if I can get it polished up for the summer. [emoji41]

The foam pad is coarse and is used for applying an "abrasive" cutting compound. The wool pad is used for shining the finished surface and removing any residual polish. If the clear coat is compromised and the PAINT has lost its inherent shine, it may be time for a repaint. Depending on the amount of damage, compounding and polishing may or may not work. I use Xtreme Shine to protect and shine my 2014 34 RLSA. I spray it on the clean surface(and decals) and wipe it off with a light buff. Good luck with whatever you use.
