As well, you might want to consider putting MaxAir or other type of secondary cover over those. I know that I sleep a bit better know there is another layer in between the hail and my original vent cover. We've had enough hail and rain here in Colorado this year...don't need to worry about the vent cover being destroyed and water entering the camper. That said, it has been a good test of the new camper to make sure there are no leaks I need to have the dealer fix!
