Replacing Cover Strip Where Nose Attaches to Roof

I was cleaning the nose of our 2014 Rockwood Signature Ultra-Lite 8282 Fifth Wheel and it looks like the plastic cover strip which covers the screw strip which helps attach the fiberglass nose to the roof is coming loose.

I was tempted to fill this area with self leveling caulk, but then again I guess I may just need to remove the old strip and install a new one. However there's no visible method of attaching this strip. Maybe it's glued or caulked on.

Does anyone have experience with replacing this plastic cover strip covering the screwed in aluminum strip where the nose attached to the roof?

I want to avoid any leaks and ceiling staining.

I have attached a photo of what it looks just slightly separated and then what it looks like if you lift up the plastic cover strip.

Looks like it snaps over that metal strip.

Here is a link on Ebay for strip cover!

Good luck. Looks like screw for metal bar was over tightened. You may have to seal under that metal bar before applying strip cover? I would try to flatten that metal strip.

Thanks for the link and for the suggestion! I need to get this closed up before the fall monsoons come! Last thing I need is water spots on the bedroom ceiling! The link is just what I need!
