Getting ready to clean my roof on my 2018 hemisphere 272 rl , and noticed the roof wraps over the edge , how do I place a ladder without damage to the roofs edge? and what is the best type of ladder , dont think I can mount a ladder on the back of trailor becuase of the rear living windows

I wrap towels around my ladder prior to putting it against the wall. Make a big soft pad basically and avoid the ladder moving left or right as best you can.

I use short pieces of pool noodle slit along one side.

These work great and get you right on top if you have to. Super safe.

Having worked Industrial Maintenance and working with the Safety Team for years I would like to offer my educated opinion on this ladder info: The picture of the ladder against an RV indicates that the ladder is not safe to use. Why? The top of the ladder does not extend out enough over the surface you are accessing. The ladder should have at least two (2) rungs extended over the working surface which gives you a hand-hold when starting to climb down. IF your ladder will not extend that far, well: BE CAREFUL.
