Roof Ladder

Does anyone know if it's possible to add a roof ladder to a 2013 Rockwood Mini-Lite 2503S, and if so, what kind of bolstering, reinforcing, etc. is required. I'm not concerned about voiding any warranties, but am concerned about having a viable installation without causing damage to the structure.

I suspect its possible just need to contact selling dealer or manufacturer for template to use when installing rear ladder. My dealer installs ladders and said they use a template supplied by forest river for the model receiving the ladder.

According to my dealer - Forest River doesn't recommend the install and they won't put one on at the factory. I suspect because it's a laminate construction there's not enough structure to support it safely.

There is backing put in at the factory where the ladder attaches, If it did not come with one all you will have is 1/8" laminate to screw to. You could still attach it but I wouldn't climb on it. Thats why when they areas for TV's like your bedroom it is maked install here because that is where they install the backing in that area.
