I have had good luck with EternaBond Tape on 2 of my trailers. Clean with acetone and apply it directly over any existing caulking and you should be set for many years of any leaks. https://www.eternabond.com/

I've used Eternabond on our last 5r and in a few places on the one we have now. No complants using the eternabond. Cost more than caulk but well worth it. I always carry a quart of acetone and a roll of 4" Eternabond tape, you just never know. Helped a fellow camper a couple of years ago with a 4' X 4" piece of the stuff.

Just wondering if I can use Acetone to clean old caulking before applying the self leveling one or, is it only if you use EternaBond Tape.
Tks!!

Oh yes, acetone will do the job prepping for the caulk as well as eternabond.

So what do you use to clean the rubber roof next to the caulking before putting the eternabond on it?
