Roof question

I purchased my TT appr 2 years ago. I carried it into the dealer this week for a roof inspection. He recommended cleaning, applying a UV protectant and a refresh of the caucking.

This is the first time any of this will be applied since the purchase.

Any thoughts on this?

Also, how often would a UV proctectant need to be applied? Is there a warranty that would go with it?

Sorry for so many questions!

Thanks so much...

I know it may be a lot of work, but if you have no problem doing it yourself you can get it completed in one day. Cost is minimal.

I use this UV protectant from Amazon, you might need a few bottles, you have to estimate.

https://www.amazon.com/Marine-Protec...=uv+protectant

What was he quoting BTW? You can find a good outdoor caulk at HD or Lowes or Tractor Supply or even WallyWorld

Amazon or your local RV dealer should carry these, cleaner on the left & treatment/protector on the right...I've also seen them at Walmart. Click image for larger version
