Sealing New Exterior Attachments

I am needing to replace some different items and was wondering if these use Dicor Non Leveling sealant or Butyl Tape on these.

(4) grab handles

(2) door catches

several compartment door catches

Thanks

If you are taking them off and redoing them, butyl tape would be my choice. Don't over torque, it will migrate over time and can be tweaked a little bit. From your pics, I might just tweak the screws a little, wash it off good and be done with it. Your call

Thanks Jeff64, the problem with the handles is that they are detonating pretty bad and the other are just broken.

For a 3 yr old unit it was not taken care of very well before I got it, but then I am retired so I have the time to do all the little things

I like lexel for a sealant, clear tube at ace. Look for foam instead of butyl behind windows, be sure to caulk these. The broken items are available in metal.

Butyl tape X4 here,

And as Crockett said, get the metal replacements when you can.
