On my way to Florida last spring, the front half of my underbelly tore loose. When I pulled into a campground it was folded in half around the axle and dragging on the ground along with all the flex heat ducting to the front half of my trailer. Also saw lots of drooping wires!
I didn't have anything to do a full re-install so I decided to just finish pulling it off. After trying a few things, what worked for me was to use a pair of angle cutters to bend the sides of the washers down a bit and then used the pry side of a hammer to yank them out. Once I got the pattern, I was able to finish the removal and tape all the duct work and wiring up in about 45 minutes.
