Short box 180

Be very happy that you did not take the back window out of your truck. The first time I was backing off the road (gravel) and I let people push me. (Horns and etc). The second time I made a wrong turn and ended up on a cow path and had to turn around. Once again under stress I made a wrong decision. The sound that the glass makes when you stuff a fiver through it is a thing that nightmares are made of

For the wedge required. Hitch specific required in most cases as the universal wedge will be sloppy or difficult to hitch. OC has a thread on this.

How can you turn 180 degrees isn't that the same as a jack knife. Maybe the OP ment 90 degrees. I just can't picture it. I'm also guessing they never removed the bolts and set it up right.

Despite all your research, it all came down to an incompetent dealer. I'd say that the fault is at least 99% theirs. They have to know the capabilities of their product. These trailers come standard with the Revolution - its been a big advertising feature for years. It was truly negligent to let anyone off the lot with a short-bed without activating the Revolution. That they did so made this inevitable.

Agree with Dave Schwartz, they should not have let you drive off their lot with the locking bolts in-place. The Reese documentation and videos about installing and setting up the hitch clearly say to remove those bolts. Either the mechanic forgot or didn't know. The right thing would be for the dealer to fix both the trailer and truck.

Now 90 or 80-90 is possible with some trucks and SOME campers.

Lol. I don't know if anyone else caught the 180 in the title
I'm an air traffic controller and you'd be amazed how often pilots will ask if they can do a quick 360 to go back to the gate or something. I always answer with, "Yes, you can but you'll be facing the same direction when you're done." That's usually followed by a long pause then, "How about a 180 then?"

However, in the OP's case, I was giving credit for 90 left and 90 right makes 180. :-)
