Angry Siding joint seperating

Is there anyone out there who have had problems with the metal corgated siding seperating at the seem on their camper. Bought a new cherokee 28' BH and in about 6 months noticed on the right side two siding sheets seperated about 5'. Was told by the dealership where I purchased the unit that the mfg. cut the lower sheet too short when installed causing the joint to seperate and that I would be responsible for the repairs. I feel cheated because I diden't cause the problem. the dealership contacted the mfg. they agreed to send the replacement siding but I would have to pay the shipping and installation which was estimated at about $600.00. The dealership felt that they had no responsibilty for repairs.

Don't take the dealer's word ------------

Don't take the dealer's word for the shipping and repairs, I would contact the warranty department of the manufacturer of the RV, with pictures . Get their response about the repairs and another dealer to take it to.

Especially if it is still under warranty.
