Slide sealant pealing off

One of the top corner of the slide seems to have the sealant or tape getting caught by the rubber seal when closing. At the moment most of it is loose and probably not doing a great job. Best plan of attack to peal back all the loose stuff and reseal the area . If that's the case which sealant or tape would you guys recommend.
Thanks
In advance

Then treat your slide seals with something to make/keep them soft and supple.

Finished product redid the whole top seam with eternabond and add a small piece of trim mooring to help flip the place so it doesn't peel up on the tape. Should be good for a bit I figure and hopefully won't come up on me anymore.
