Spring Wash & Wax

Gave the Shamrock a bath & wax today. It's crazy how dirty it gets from sitting there all winter! Cabin fever has really set-in. So ready to head to mountains.

what did you use to wash and wax it? We're new to the HTT world (former pup owner) and this is all so foreign to us.

I use a wash/wax on my 8289 WS. I have not used a regular wax as of yet. I wash the trailer after every trip and spring and prior to winter storage. Looks pretty good to me.

I wash mine every spring and fall, then apply a coat of this:

It goes on and comes off like wax, but my experience is that it protects longer.

Just washed and waxed my white cardinal last week. Now it is yellow with pollen. Oh well, it was nice and shiny for a few minutes!!!

I used a wash & wax with UV protector. Not sure of the brand, got it from local RV parts store. Didn't know there were so many kinds/brands to choose from. I really wanted something with UV protector in it.

Dealer suggested that we wash our camper with car wash such as RainX. We won't need to wax the Rockwood. We didn't last year. We washed it twice. This year we'll do it more often with the RainX.

RainX is a good idea. As long as the fiberglass is protected doesn't matter what you use. My decals on the front, script type, came off again. I think they are just staying off now. No amount of wax or sealer would have saved them.
