Storage not locking

We did a thorough check through our PDI, yet did not notice that the left storage lock behind the slider did not close and lock. Hubbie has tried everything, to make it close. Really do not want to make a special visit to the dealer to fix.

Is it possible for someone to climb into compartment and as someone else tries to lock the door watch the striker ans see if the striker arm just needs a little love. I'm asuming the key moves the lock with door open. Also have had to use alittle kok-ease.

I had a similar problem on my 2014 Rockwood A122 (A-frame). I just could not get the latch to rotate into the closed position on one of the storage compartments. I ended up taking the lock apart and reversing the latch. Then it was too loose. Took the lock apart again, and bent the latch (with some heavy pliers and a hammer) to tighten it up a little. Now the storage lock works really well.
