Tent Trailer Roof Repair

To my major disapointment my 2005 Flagstaff LTD 205 tent trailer has developed a 4" crack in the roof. I even kept the roof covered when not in use. No longer under warranty. I need to reapir this and I guess seal the roof to prevent more cracks. ( I suspect poor quality in roof materials by manufacturer) What should I use to fix the crack? What product should I use to apply to the entire roof as a sealant? I belive the roof is fiberglass, but I could be wrong. I checked with the dealer but not much concern or help there. The just wanted to sell me some caulking and a small piece of roof tape. Thanks for your help!

if its fiberglass you can lay a few sheet's of gloss over it and resin and reglass the crack. you will need to sand and clean the entire area first then sand and paint afterwards. That would be a more permanent repair than tape. Eternabond and Dicor make good stuff, not sure if they make a fiberglass tape. you can check here:
