When I was at the factory tours I would see 2-3 workers on the roof with an A/C in hand to install it. The Rockwood has a one piece roof with aluminum ribs embedded in it. The Wildcat has arched trusses covered with plywood and rubber roof. So in my opinion is most TTs and FWs are safe to walk on with the proper footwear. Attached is pics from Rockwood and their roof

My wife told me to lose some weight and make sure the life insurance is paid before I climb up there.

Haven't had any issues wlaking on any of my previous SOB's. The FR website states and shows pictures that you can walk on the roof. Went up there a month ago to do the inspection. Felt like I was walking on styrofoam. Crunchy and soft all over. May be why all my ceiling lights have styrofoam particles in them. Cleaned from a ladder.

Awww, man! And here all along I thought the workers dangled upside down from the factory rafters to install all the components on the camper roof!!

Seriously though, I have been up there many times and never a problem. I'm just careful....primarily so I don't fall!!!
