Today is clean day! I washed the roof for the first time.

I used dawn dish washing soap - I probably didn't "have" to clean the roof, but I wanted to inspect the usual stuff - so I thought I might as well get after it.

I didn't do a great job - but good enough for now. Before - after photos attached.

I also cleaned out the black/grey tanks but I didn't take photos of that .

I had trouble with the sensors so used the camco wand dealy. It's a stinky job but somebody has to do it.

You say you didn't do a great job, but the before and after pics are pretty dramatic!! I have never used Dawn on my rubber roof for fear it may be too harsh and I have been told to never use dish soap on the fiberglass or gelcoat and by doing the roof some will drip down onto it....but your pics certainly have me rethinking that.

I read about using dawn on the forum so I thought I'd give it a shot.

I rinsed the roof, then washed, then rinsed really well.

I didn't get on the roof, just used my ladder. I'll probably get on the roof next go-round as that should save some time.

I washed the Roo afterwards - then used some wd 40 on a couple of black streaks - worked like a charm!

Kinda off subject a bit, but is it OK to park a TT and not have it covered?

I don't cover my Roo while in storage with a cover but it is stored under a cover (top only).
