You could always put in one of the small ones that is the size of recessed lighting.

Update: just picked the unit up from Harold's RV in Bath, PA yesterday. They had the repair done in about 10 days and it looks like they did an excellent job. They did some sort of patch and the only way I can tell is that it is less "weather beaten" (read: whiter) than the rest of the roof. I cannot tell that anything ever perforated the closet either. First trip is coming up and I'm grateful to them for the quick repair. We also paid them to check the front cap, which they resealed for us. Bonus was they also washed the roof and the cap! Thanks to all for your stories, encouragement and advice!
