Tuesday Leak Challenge...

So the better half was on the roof of the 5ver and while coming down the ladder I notice the below water dripping out of where the ladder rail ties into the camper wall. It hasn't rained in a long time to account for the amount of water coming out. The only thing I can think of is AC water but how is it getting back there?

Is it possible the ladder itself has water in it? It is a pair of hollow tubes, so water could collect inside.

Could be... but I cant think how water would have gotten inside the ladder tube or more importantly how that volume of water would have gotten in there.

The disc around the tube is sealed well so I'm wondering if the water is somehow behind the wall. But nothing is coming out anywhere else underneath at the low point of the camper so I'm at a loss there too.

Could be water behind the mounting flange. Push on the mount to determine if compressing the wall causes more to come out, I would either remove, seal and reinstall the mount or at a minimum recaulk the top and sides and some of the bottom of the mounting flange. Leave as small space uncaulked in the low bottom just in case water gets behind it,

Water running from the AC was landing square on the passenger side rail light which is 6 inches from that mounting flange. I am going to reseal the light as I cant tell if water got in behind it and is now seeping out from the ladder mounting flange. I just cant see water collecting and sitting there in the wall for five days and now oozing out that flange.

I will try compressing the wall in the morning. If climbing the ladder gets a steady flow I'm gonna bet pushing on the exterior will too.
