Underbelly paint or sealant

We recently purchased a '15 Palomini that has exposed wood (chip board) on the the underbelly. Coming from a fully encased molded fiberglass trailer (Casita), I'm concerned about the vulnerability of the exposed wood underbelly.

Has anyone else applied any brush/spray paint or other protective coatings? Any input or recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks and happy trails,
Greg
