Vent fan dismal air flow

Greetings! Our trailer has a typical clam shell roof vent over the bed.
We occasionally dry camp and more often camp with hookups but want
ventilation rather than a closed up trailer with the AC humming.

Our trailer came with a single speed non reversible fan over the bed
and another in the bathroom.
I immediately replaced the one over the bed with a basic model Fantastic
fan. 3 speed reversible.
It -barely- moves any air. On hi speed it's loud but with it set to blow
in/down you can hold your face or hand under it and barely feel anything.
When it's exhausting on hi or medium it's got an annoying knocking sound.

Yes we have plenty of windows open.

Our previous rig had a MaxxAir fan that moved a LOT of air. It was their
model that you bolted on over an existing clamshell vent. It had a tendency to make a low moaning sound on low speed but that baby would
move air! When blowing in/down you could lay on the bed and feel a breeze much like you'd expect with a home model ceiling fan over your bed.

Of course MaxxAir has been bought out by another company and they no longer offer that model.
Now the MaxxAir fan looks suspiciously like the Fantastic fan clamshell model.

I've looked online to try and find CFM listings for either of these fans and
can't find anything buy hype.

I'm ready to yank out that Fantastic fan but what's the use unless I have
some sort of confidence the replacement will do a better job.

I've got a little 6" diameter 2 speed oscillating 12v fan that I bought in the automotive isle 20 years ago when we boat/tent camped and I swear that
little fan moves more air than this "fantastic" fan!

Thoughts and suggestions appreciated!
