Waxing the exterior on metal sided trailer

I did a search and at least my terms came up with some older threads on waxing....

But I typically uses a Carnuba wax on my vehicles. Does this seem safe or similar to what you all use on you ALUMINUM sided trailers, not so interested in fiberglass..

I also so a few references to not waxing decals. Does this still hold true for you? Thanks.

I've always had good luck using NuFinish on everything including the decals.

For the past ten years I have been using wax with carnuba in it on our aluminum sided trailer. I use a past wax called Mothers and get it at Walmart.
I go right over the decals and it has never hurt them.
We will shortly be getting our new forest River trailer, and unless the manual says to use something else I'll use the same on it.
I also use it on our car and truck
