I was assuming to get the standard lap sealant from Dicor (I think it's 501), but then I found out that there are different kinds of roofing material. I took off a vent piece and it looks like the roof material is white plastic on both sides (as best I could tell) which indicates that it is TPO and maybe a newer type. Looking at this page (Dicor Products | Ultra Sealant System
) it seems that maybe I need to get the ultraseal 2 step thing, but it really looks like the regular stuff is what they used at the factory. Anyone know?
And what chemical can I use to clean the roof and the old dicor off before using the new sealant? Rubber can put up with stronger stuff, but what do people use to get TPO clean?
Thanks for the help!
