2005 Coachmen Santara 3690 TS Cargo Bay door removal

Trying to remove aft cargo bay door. Removed hydraulic arms, docking light and wiring. It looks like if I position the door in the correct position the door should lift up and off. Any help is appreciated. 2005 Coachmen Santara 3690 TS. Where the top of door fits in the body of the coach is a J shaped edge which is how the door pivots.

Cargo Bay door removal instructions

The door will not lift off in any position. Best part is this was the aft door which made it easier. There's a flat piece of metal that extends from the rear of the coach to just behind the living room slide. There are 50 screws in this metal strip but since I was removing the aft door I only needed to remove the 9 screws behind that door. Once the screws are out, use a small screwdriver and slowly pry the metal piece out. There's also a rivet at the rear of the trim piece the doors pivots on. Remove that rivet and you can slide the door off the track toward the rear of the coach. I suspect the purpose of the rivet is to keep the door from moving back in the track. Hope this helps someone else that needs to remove a cargo bay door on a Coachmen Class A Motorhome.
