2016 vibe awning

We put our electric awning in and it stopped about an inch from being fully retracted. Now it wont go in our out when we went to put it out again. Any ideas? Push the button and nothing happens.

I'd first check for a blown fuse. Try using the tablet, if that works then the switch could be bad.

Tried both those. No fuses were bad in the panel and the tablet doesnt do it either.

is it now in or out???
in the manual is a description how to manually move it. I would suggest a wire issue.

I don't know which Vibe you have. I have the 286RKS and there is another fuse panel inside the bathroom linen closet. There is a wood panel with 4 screws, remove that and check those fuses, I think that's where the awning fuse is.

Through the years I have found that some 12vDC motor will stop with the rotor in between the field coils. Simply moving the shaft of the motor may put the rotor back into a position for the motor to run. Maybe try rotating the awning by hand just a little bit to see if this will work. BE SAFE while doing this.

I found the other fuse panel. Using the tablet you can hear it click on the fuse panel but nothing happens. Fuses appear to be good. Assuming a bad wire.?

Try what Thurman suggested and manually roll the awning. Maybe it's stuck
