Awning

We are on our second camping trip and the electric awning will not extend. When the button is pushed the lights in the camper dim, you can hear the motor.i have a crusader 260, any suggestions.

you said you could hear the motor, what is it doing? Could be the awning rolled up crooked and put the arms in a bind. Might have someone momentarily bump the switch in the deploy position and you look for movement of the arms or try pulling the arms. If it happens to be the case, once it is deployed, center the material on the tube and in the side hem of the awning down on the roller, install a 3/16" dia large head rivet at both ends.

Lights dim when you try to extend, took it in to the dealer, needs new motor. The awning has been out once since we bought it, saw a pin hole, took to the dealer to replace fabric now it won't open. I was told today it could be from non use(OMG). Im not having that good feeling
