Awning

Every time I open my canopy after a rain, a cascade of water showers down from inside. I can't imagine that this could be good for the quality of the canvas.
Is this normal? Has anyone found a solution to this?
Thank you in advance.
Larry

Normal.

I store my camper in a shed all winter, when I get it out in the spring and deploy the awning it's full of condensation.

My other two 5er's have always done this also. After sitting all winter and thru the early spring rains the awning is full of moisture and mildew. I clean the awning every year with RV awning cleaner and let this dry out in the sun.
