Awning racket when opening or closing

I have a surveyor cadet sc 226rbds. The awning shutters and makes a racket when I open or close it. Has anyone been able to figure out what causes it.

Have you tried lubricating the pivot points and the rod end of the cylinders?

Yes every time but no change.

Mine does it too. Sometimes more than other. Sometime it goes out quiet and smooth.

Wonder if it's the spring in the tube. More tension or out of alignment on the frame. Trying to find the post where to pop the fabric to the tube. Don't want to put in a bad place.

Ours use to do that until I wiped down the shafts of the struts. Also I secured the ends of the awning on the roller. It would change positions and one side would roll at a different angle and bind on one side. When it rolls up smooth with no wrinkles it cured the noise.
