So call Dometic back and let them know. They won't find that dealer's response acceptable either.

I wonder if this affects some older models, I own a Rockwood WindJammer and while travelling to a wedding a month ago, the canopy deployed and we had to do an emergency stop and end up having to strap the arms and canopy down with wratchet straps. then slowly (50 m/hr or less) crawl home and have not been able to use our trailer again. I have contacted the dealer and they are checking.....will let you know results.

As far as I know, it only effects the 9100 series. Look on line and call Dometic directly. They sent a mobile service to my house.. Replaced the motor assembly with a larger diameter motor. Took a couple of weeks to get scheduled..
