I have the electric awning--------

Here is a picture of my electric awning with the auto dump, and it is tied down !

It will auto dump when tied down, I know for it works.

It is a Dometic, come with the instructions to set it up for automatic dump!!

The Dometic come with a two year warranty

I wanted to thank everyone for there help and input. We have decided on a Carefree of Colorado Awning, not power but a manual with a hand crank to extend and retract it with, basically I or my wife will be the motor. It is a one person operation and the easyiest manual awning I have found to extend. We can save the money over the power option and still have a one person operation.

Pioneer awning, you can see a video here of how it works:

I just paid for and ordered the Pioneer Awning from Carefree of Colorado, we can't wait to have it installed in a few weeks and have the worn out A&E sunchaser removed. Also having a power tongue jack installed and two Camco vent covers, should be a nice addition. I will post some pics when it is finished.

any recomendations on 12V power awnings or really easy to use manual? I wuold like to have one that the DW can setup or take down. Ours is 21ft and requires two people to set it up. I like that the Carefree uses a crank handle to extend/retract, A&E doesw not have that option.

Thanks for any help!
I vote 4 12 volt power awning.
I love mine. 15 seconds out and 15 seconds back in
