Awning will not fully extend

While getting ready for our first trip this spring, I extended the awning and it would not extend all of the way. It looks like it is about 4-6 inches short from fully extending based on the flap overlapping over the end of the awning. As a result, the awning cover was not tight and had a sag in it. It was fine when we used it last fall.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Did you try to unroll it by hand the rest of the way while someone hit the switch?

Thanks. As it turns out, it was fully extended. I had forgotten that there is a flap hanging down on the end. All is good. Another newbie duh moment.

FYI you shouldn't fully extend your awning anyway or water can pool on it.
You should leave about half a wrap of awning material on the roller.

X2 - the flap should hang straight down towards the ground under the roller to leave the proper amount of tension around roller to avoid water pooling
