Basement Key

Just bought a 2012 Wildwood Heritage Glen 316RETS 5th wheel a couple months ago. I got two door keys but only one key for the accessory/basement doors. I took the RV to the local dealer (1.5 hour drive away) for an inspection and $2400 later, I still have no basement spare key. I tried ACE hardware and Wal Mart but no one seems to have the blanks. Where do you get your blanks to make spare keys for your RV's?

Any locksmith will have it. I being a retired locksmith always key everything on my RV’s the same except the main door.

If your key is the ever popular 751 you can get them on Amazon.

X2 what Decon said, I paid $1.79 for each one, I also had keys for my other storage doors and main door made at Carl Jarl.

When we bought our trailer we were given 2 sets of keys for each door but only one 751 key. When I told the salesman that we wanted a second one he simply opened his desk drawer and gave me one of the many he had laying in there.

You do realize of course that many other people have this same key. For security and piece of mind go to Home Depot and get some new locks. Not that expensive, and they each come with two keys cut on Y11 blanks which are available everywhere.

Do you happen to have a link to a replacement lock at Home Depot, Lowes, or Amazon? I may want to replace mine, as well.

Thanks!

This link will get you started. You will have to measure your current lock "barrel" to pick the right cam lock. Mine were 7/8", but yours could be different.

Hope this helps.
