Bent Awning

Has anyone bought and installed the MegaX 57 awning tube brace? How did it work?

Haven't personally but read a couple threads about them a couple years back. Seemed they worked pretty good but may be difficult to get centered In a bent tube.

Sorry wrong name. MX57 is the correct name of it. I email the company and that's what they said as well, jtstromsburg. Straighten it first then insert it into the tube.

Well after speaking with Dometic and a few pics they are replacing the awning roller. I have to install it or pay to have it installed.

What caused it to bend in the first place? My awning tube bent/bowed because of the length with no support in the middle. I had an awning support installed to support it when it is rolled up and we are moving on down the road. Mine is made by carefree of colorado. It flips out when unrolled and back in when it's rolled up.
